2026 Pro-am
Calling all homebrewers!
The Tacoma Beer Week Pro-Am Homebrew Competition is returning in 2026! Pull out your best hops and warm up your whirlpools, because this year’s competition is all about IPAs.
This is a Best in Show style competition, spanning all styles of IPA. Winners of the preliminary round will each be paired with a participating Tacoma brewery to brew a production-sized batch of their winning recipe, which will be judged at the Final Table event during Tacoma Beer Week.
PLUS, all winning recipes will be on tap for consumption! Best in Show will be awarded based on technical judging, and a crowd favorite will also be crowned based on consumer votes.
IMPORTANT DATES
Registration Deadline: Wednesday December 10, 2025
Entry Deadline: Wednesday December 17, 2025
Entries can be submitted to any Browns Point Homebrew Club meeting, Jon’s Homebrew Supply in Puyallup, or Fermentation Initiative in Tacoma.
Final Table Event: Sunday March 1, 2026
Parkway Tavern, 2:00pm
One entry per person. Two bottles of the entry beer required with BJCP bottle ID forms and a recipe sheet.
